Developer’s Note:

Passage will be in-game machanic to ensure player can access only zones unlocked when certain conditions within current zone are met (Yellow & Orange effect). Eg. You need a weapon to exit a town.

They can also be used to trigger events on current map, like start encounter, or create power orb etc.

Some passages (Red & Black effect) are meant for zones that should not yet be accessed, eg. defeat boss before you can enter (or zone is still in development :P)
