Weekly Update #30

Gameplay
  • New Status: Unstoppable – Enemies with this status are immune to stun, knockback, and ability interruptions
  • Players are now susceptible to being stunned
  • Chain Lightning and Thunderclap added as starter abilities for testing purposes
AI
  • Enemies now move with implemented local avoidance
  • Adjusted the radius for each enemy to better align with their size and prevent overlap during encounters
Enemies
  • Boar:
    • Introduced a new ability: 'Charge.’ During this action, the Boar becomes Unstoppable and charges forward 10 meters, knocking everything in its path sideways. If the player is hit by the charge, both the Boar and the player are stunned for 2 seconds
Talents
  • Chain Lightning:
    • Unleash a surge of crackling energy, striking a primary target for 50 Storm Damage. The lightning then leaps to up to 4 nearby enemies within 5m, each arc dealing 70% of the damage dealt to the previous target
  • Conduit:
    • Conduit can now also be applied by directly casting active storm abilities such as Call Lightning, Chain Lightning or Thunderclap
  • Overload:
    • Each conduit placed on an enemy builds a stack of Overload. Upon reaching 15 stacks, all active storm abilities are instantly reset, ready to unleash their full power again.
  • Thunderclap:
    • Slam the ground, releasing a shockwave that stuns enemies within a radius for 2 seconds and deals 40 Storm Damage. Enemies with Conduit have their stun duration increased by 0.5 seconds.
Visuals
  • Added VFX for enemy spawns, providing a brief warning of their appearance location
Internal
  • Reduced resolution of all skill icons
  • A new method has been added to the cooldown component to forcibly finish the countdown, triggering the countdown end event. This complements the existing Stop method, which halts the countdown without raising the end event
Bugs
  • Resolved an issue where controller schemes appeared misaligned or out of bounds on certain screen resolutions.
  • Resolved an issue where the passage would not consistently trigger the exit event
