Weekly Update #49
Gameplay
- Backstab is now applied as a contributor to a melee attack from behind rather than separate damage done later
- Removed Rage Decay mechanic
- Created Encounter Builder and Encounter Profiles which helps create smooth difficulty curve
- Rolling rewards for the next scene and attaching it to portals at the end of the encounter
Talents
- Removed „Conduit” Talent – effect is now made a baseline for every storm ability:
Scenes
- Created „Generic Scene” for random encounters – all obstacles can be randomized, uses Encounter Profiles to spawn enemies
Visuals
- Created „Tear In Reality” visual effect for portals between scenes
- Created silhouettes of every NPC required for the first act of the game
UI
- Main menu buttons now highlights active object while using gamepad
Internal
- Localization component now takes another parameter in form of default translation
- Replaced unity’s coroutines with UniTask
Bugs
- Resolved an issue where danger indicator was called after Devilish Vine death
